Financial Wellness Overview
Financial stress impacts most everyone at one point or another. Whether it is paying the bills, saving for college, or planning for retirement, the stress of financial decisions and challenges can take have significant negative impacts. The Velomon Finanicial Wellness program seeks to help employers and membership organizations with an informational web portal that has no cost to the employee.
As you are working with businesses and membership organizations, we’ve developed several marketing videos to help tell the story of why Financial Wellness is an issue and how that organization – with help from Velomon – can assist their employees and members. How the Program Works
Velomon offers access to the Financial Wellness Portal free of charge to individuals. The free portal has Velomon branding and lists Jay Beattey as the Financial Wellness Coach.
Accessing the portal begins by taking the Financial Wellness Assessment. This online questionnaire helps determine the financial well being of the user. It creates an immediate customized report showing their score and providing an overview of that score and its meaning. The report page then encourages the user to sign up for free access to the Financial Wellness Information Portal.
Free Portal Access – Your Personal Link

Use your personal link to invite prospects to take our assessment and register for free access to the portal. Once registered, they can contact you via your email address which appears on each page, or using the contact forms on the site.

In order to promote the Velomon portal for free usage, you will want to have a personal link that positions you as the Financial Wellness Coach for your prospects. To do this, you must be registered in our system. Use the form below to update your information as a Financial Wellness Coach.

Personalized Portal – Customized for Your Client
Many businesses and organizations will see the value in co-branding the Financial Wellness portal with their information. With this customization, their business or organization logo will appear where the Velomon logo now appears. The text in the site will also be modified to let their users know that this is a benefit being provided by the sponsoring group.
In order to take advantage of the customized portal, the company or organization must have their own personalized registration page. This page is created by Velomon and provided to the group for registration of their people. All participating employees or members MUST register with this special page in order to access the customized portal. Otherwise, the generic Velomon information will appear.
As a participating agent, the cost to create a customized registration page is $300. This cost can be absorbed by you the agent or passed on to the client. You are also able to mark up this cost if you wish. The registration process, however, will be managed by you, the agent and Velomon who will provide the registration page and maintain the portal. Your job will be:
- Get client to approve the portal agreement, including any payment to you from them (Velomon will NOT collect money directly from your client. That payment and any tax implications are your responsibility).
- Have Client submit necessary logos and information (see registration information)
- Use the link on the right to register and pay for client portal registration page
- Registration page information will be emailed to you within 1 week
- Supply the registration page to the client who will then provide it to their employees or members
